We examine and discuss important topics and developments in health and safety to share our insight and experience with you!
As we walk into 2021, hoping for a better year than the last, we should take time to remember all that we have to be grateful for. Even during the pandemic, which was a difficult time for many businesses and families, there were little pieces of silver lining scattered throughout these hard times. Our team at Safety Ahead recently took some time to reflect on the past year, not only did we recall the difficulties that we, and our clients faced, but we remembered the positive things that came out of 2020. Our communities pulled together to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and worked hard to implement constantly changing safety protocols at the recommendations of our provincial health officers. By working hard to implement these new changes, businesses and individuals would have been able to prevent some of their patrons, and loved ones, from getting sick. Though the effort to get COVID-19 under control is still ongoing, we wanted to think of other ways that we could encourage people to think of other ways to improve safety within their community or workplace. Thus, the Random Acts of Safety Challenge was born.
Our team would like to challenge you, as a company or an individual, to perform a random act of safety in your community or workplace. The only requirements are that the act must be related to protecting the safety of others and it must not endanger anyone at anytime. We would like to see a picture and a story from anyone who wishes to participate. The Safety Ahead team will be doing our own Random Act of Kindness as well! If you would like to join us, please comment below with your Random Act of Safety (story and picture) and we will enter you in the draw to win a prize (think gift card and some sweet swag)! We will be accepting entries for the draw until the end each month, so make sure you get your picture and story posted before the end of the month! The challenge begins now…
